Forget understanding other people. Rayas struggles to understand his own feelings most times. Since people aren't his forte, Rayas leads a fulfilling career as a computer programmer. When it comes to science, numbers, and logic, he flourishes. Maybe it's because in physics, you don't need to worry about conforming to social norms.
On the plus side, his intellect makes for the most intriguing conversations. Don't ask him how his day is going. Ask him what phenomena could result in the destruction of the universe (because small talk is for small minds). And please, for the love of jockstraps, DO NOT use idioms around him. Rayas takes everything seriously. He had us escorted out of his science Olympiad after we told him to break a leg smh.
Aside from his annoying quirks, Rayas is an amazing friend. Everybody needs a bestie who'll give them objective advice whether they like it or not.
